Status Quo: 11 UK Dates "Quofest" This Winter

Britain’s best-loved rockers Status Quo will undertake an 11 arena date UK Winter tour in 2011. The inaugural “QuoFest” tour sees the mighty Status Quo joined on all dates by Roy Wood and Kim Wilde. This killer line-up is not to be missed and is sure to be the ultimate musical Christmas party.

Status Quo themselves need no introduction: more hit singles than any other band, more hit albums than The Beatles, more appearances on TOTP than any other act; the superlatives keep coming. Roy Wood is one of the UK’s most treasured songwriters; he created hits for The Move, ELO and of course Wizzard (a certain Christmas track among them!) Kim Wilde became an instant new wave phenomenon in the ’80s and was ever present in the charts with smashes like 'You Came', 'You Keep Me Hangin’ On' and of course the smash 'Kids In America'. Incredibly, between them this trio has released around 170 chart singles!

The Status Quo “QuoFest” set will feature the first airings of some of the new material but of course the band will blast out a slew of massive hits from that amazing catalogue of classics. Add into that the legendary hit-machine Roy Wood and a host of hits from Kim Wilde and “QuoFest” represents an evening of over 3 hours of entertainment  that would put a smile on even Ebeneezer Scrooge’s face!

Status Quo will bring “Quofest” feat. Status Quo, Roy Wood and Kim Wilde to the following UK venues:

Dec 03 - Birmingham LG Arena
Dec 04 - Sheffield Motorpoint Arena
Dec 06 - Liverpool Echo Arena
Dec 07 - Nottingham Capital FM Arena
Dec 09 - Brighton Centre
Dec 10 - Cardiff Motorpoint Arena
