Girlschool and Tygers of Pan Tang have been announced as special guests for the Thursday VIP Party Night at Hard Rock Hell V: Village of the Damned, to be held from December 1-4 at Pontins, Prestatyn, Wales.
Girschool have recently released “Legacy” which is a celebration of their 30th year in the business and is a special tribute to guitarist Kelly Johnson who died in 2007.
The album includes guest appearances from a virtual who’s who of rock. Not surprisingly, given past collaborations, Lemmy turns up, plus there are contributions from Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Phil Campbell, Fast Eddie Clarke and Twisted Sister’s JJ French and Eddie Ojeda
The Tygers released a six track CD EP in February, entitled "The Spellbound Sessions" to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of their Iconic 1981 release "Spellbound". Each track has been re-recorded by the current version of the line-up formed by original guitarist Robb Weir in 2001.
Tygers and Girschool join several bands already confirmed including The Quireboys, Tyketto, Dan Baird and Homemade Sin, Black Spiders and Wolfsbane.
