Whitford took
part in NBC's live benefit concert, "Hurricane Sandy:
Coming Together", yesterday (Friday, November 2) at the New York
studios of NBC at
30 Rockefeller Plaza. It aired live across the East Coast and
tape-delayed on the West coast.
Hosted by NBC "Today" anchor Matt Lauer, the commercial-free telethon included an all-star rendition of "Under The Boardwalk" with Steven Tyler,Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen, as well as a deeply emotional version of"Dream On", with Tyler sitting behind a piano.
Money collected will be donated to the American Red Cross relief efforts for Hurricane Sandy.
