Black Sabbath: To Headline Lollapalooza In August




According to UltimateClassicRock will Black Sabbath reportedly be one of the headliners of this summer’s Lollapalooza, with advance word of the three-day festival’s lineup leaking from a Brazilian website.


According to Tenhomaisdiscosqueamigos.com, Black Sabbath will appear along with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jack White and the Black Keys. The group, who will perform as part of the Download festival in the U.K. On June 10, had promised to also performone U.S. show after cancelling nearly all their massive 2012 reunion world tour plans following guitarist Tony Iommi’s lymphona diagnisis.

The line-up is due to be officially announced this Wednesday, April 11 on the festival’s official website, so maybe don’t book your tickets just yet. Lollapalooza takes place in Chicago’s Grant Park between August 3 and 5 this year.
