Anvil will be releasing three of their older albums on February
14th, 1987's «Strength of Steel», 1988's «Pound for Pound» and
1992's «Worth the Weight», all remastered in a digipak format. The
End Records will reissue the Canadian metal band's entire catalog by
the end of 2012.
Lips, co-founder drummer Robb "Geza" Reiner and bassist Glenn Gyorffy (with the band since 1996) experienced rallying support and opportunities in recent years after the 2008 documentary, «Anvil! The Story of Anvil», directed by Sacha Gervasi, showed the persevering, endearing metal band keep at it since 1978, influencing a whole crop of musicians but never cracking the big time themselves.
