"Neon
Nights: 30 Years of Heaven & Hell" ('Live
in Europe' for the U.S. market and 'Live at Wacken' for the European
market) was recorded at the Wacken Open Air Festival on July 30 in
2009, and released in 2010.
The
band is inspired and, unaware that it would be Dio's final filmed
performance.
This
show really showcases what they are capable of and includes some
absolutely excellent performances. All of the gents are in full form
and are really into it. Dio sings with the power and passion that no
other can and moves around the stage as if he was 20 years younger.
Tony tears it up, Vinnie's solo is awesome, and Geezer's bass is
thunderous. Every song is better than the one before it.
