Slash: "Made In Stoke - 24/7/11"; DVD Out In November

The details for Slash’s live DVD have now surfaced.

“Slash: Made In Stoke – 24/7/11” will be released November 15th on DVD and Blu-ray.

Filmed in Stoke-On-Trent, the July concert was a UK homecoming show for Slash, who was born in the city and left for America when he was five years old.

"I have memories that I went to school there, of the basic neighborhood that I lived in,” says Slash. “I remember exactly what the house looked like. Just everything in general, for some reason my memory is really clear. Better than my memory of later years."

"I've been wanting to do this for a long time and for some reason it just never seemed possible,"
said Slash before the show. "One of the things about doing the solo record and setting up my own tour was that I told the powers-that-be that I wanted to play in places I'd never played before. And so Stoke was something that was high on my list and I told them just make it happen."

Slash was riding the show’s afterglow, posting to Facebook, "Stoke was a [fuckin'] blast!! Great vibe and energy. It's going to make a killer DVD. We'll be back next year definitely!"

Fan-filmed footage can be viewed below.

Meanwhile, Slash continues work on his second solo album, which the guitarist expects to have ready for spring 2012.
