The rock and metal community efforts to help the people affected by Japan's earthquake and tsunami as the nation reveals it may need $235bn and five years to recover from the March 11 disaster.
Michael Monroe led a cast of Finnish all-stars in a charity concert at Tavastia in Helsinki. The event also featured Jenni Vartiainen, Paleface, Ismo Alanko, Von Hertzen Brother and Tuomari Nurmio. The gig was broadcasted live online.
Michael Monroe says: "What happened was scary and alarming. The best you can do with rock music is to try and influence the events positively."
Monroe have just released the new album "Sensory Overdrive" and began touring.
