Slash is selling many of his personal possessions next month, with a sizeable portion of the proceeds going to a local charity for abused and homeless adolescents. He says: "I have a bad habit of collecting stuff that I don't necessarily use."
According to Reuters, the legendary guitarist has teamed up with a Beverly Hills auction house for the March 7-25 sale. Among the items being auctioned are Slash's signature top hats, tee-shirts, exotic furniture and decor, an acoustic guitar on which he recorded the band's ballad"Patience", and a 1966 Corvette Stingray that Slash refers to as "a monster of a car," and which is reportedly estimated to sell for at least 90,000 to $100,000.
