Magnum: Bob Catley Talks "On The 13th Day" In New Video Podcast

Magnum are about to finish their new album "On The 13th Day" which is set for a September 21st release in Germany, on September 24th in the rest of Europe and  on September 25th in the US/Canada. A single named "So Let It Rain" is scheduled for an end of August release.

It will be available as a limited DigiPack edition with a bonus CD feat. unreleased, acoustic and live tracks from the Magnum vaults, as double gatefold LP version with coloured vinyl, standard edition and download. The cover will be created once more by famous fantasy artist Rodney Matthews (Asia, Nazareth, Eloy).

Y&T: New Live Album Out Soon

California rockers Y&T will release a two-disc live album recorded in November 2011 at the Mystic Theatre in Petaluma, California. The effort will mark the very first release with bassist Brad Lang, who joined the band in April 2011 following the passing of the band's Y&T original member Phil Kennemore.

Commented Y&T: "This massive project will truly give the vibe of a current Y&T live show with the inclusion of 21 songs on two discs, including many songs never before released on any other live Y&T CD. [It will be made] available exclusively on the Y&T website."

Duff McKagan Joined Michael Monroe On Stage In Holly wood; Video Posted

Duff McKagan joined former Hanoi Rocks frontman Michael Monroe on stage this past Saturday night (June 2) at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California to perform the Hanoi classics "Taxi Driver" and"Feel Alright". Fan-filmed video footage of  Duff's appearance can be seen below.

The day after the show, Duff tweeted, "Michael Monroe were fucking GREAT tonite! Rock and roll in the best of ways."


Monroe stated in a Facebook post, "Had a great time at the Whisky show! Thank you, Hollywood! And thank you, Duff McKagan, for coming up to rock out on 'Taxi Driver' and 'Feel Alright'!! You rule, my man, that was awesome!"
