KISS: Tour Books in PDF Available Part II

KissFAQ has been working on a project to convert the tour book archive to PDF format since many of the scans currently in use were low-res. The second batch have been completed and include:

Queensrÿche: New 20 Min Video Interview With Geoff Tate

Jay Nanda of the San Antonio Metal Music Examiner conducted an interview with vocalist Geoff Tate of Seattle progressive rockers Queensrÿche prior to the band's September 20, 2011 concert at Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, Texas. You can now watch the chat in two parts below.

Tate told Billboard.com that  Queensrÿche is already starting work on its next album despite having just released its 12th LP, "Dedicated To Chaos", in late June.

"We kind of have that practice, to jump from one to the next," he explained. "It's what drives us to get up in the morning, the new music, writing the music. If we don't do that, we're just resting on our laurels and playing songs we've played a million times before, and none of us want to do that."Tate said  Queensrÿche  is currently "putting some sketches together and discussing direction and that kind of thing," and he expects some songs will start to surface while the group is on the road. "We have studios with us at all times," he noted. "If you come backstage at any given show, we have a room set up, everybody here and there, working away. It looks like a laboratory. That really keeps the music flowing, too."

DIO: "The Last in Line" 2CD Deluxe Edition Out in November

Universal International Japan  has confirmed a November 16th release date for the Deluxe Edition of DIO's legend 1984 sophomore effort, «The Last In Line». The reissue release features the high-fidelity SHM-CD format (compatible with standard CD players) and cardboard sleeve jacket.

Alice Cooper: Glen Sobel Drum Cam Footage Available

Drum-cam footage of Glen Sobel performing three classic Alice Cooper tracks  "Billion Dollar Babies", "Muscle Of Love" and "Halo Of Flies" - can be seen below. The clips were recorded during the summer leg of Cooper's U.S. "No More Mr. Nice Guy" tour as well as the band's recent intimate show at the world-famous Whisky A Go-Go in Hollywood, California.

In addition to Sobel, Cooper's live band features longtime bassist Chuck Garric, and the three-pronged guitar assault of Steve Hunter, Tommy Henriksen, and Orianthi.

The "No More Mr. Nice Guy" tour is slated to run through mid-December 2011.

Lou Reed and Metallica: Entire "The View" Available
