Two
new samples from "A Different Kind of Truth" is available:
“China
Town” is
the 5th song to surface so far from the record, the band’s first
with David Lee Roth in
28 years; it’s due February 7th.
The track kicks off with an Eddie solo that leads into an all-out blistering rocker, as the band works at breakneck speed behind Roth.

“Bullethead” is
a heavy riff rocker and, like some of the other tunes on the project,
is a song with a VH past.
While an old demo/studio version has never appeared, the unreleased original was performed on New Year’s Eve 1978 at The Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, CA.
According to the Van Halen Encyclopedia,“Bullethead” was written in one day in 1977 in the group’s rehearsal space – the basement of David Lee Roth's parents' home – the same day the band wrote “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love.”
