Slash, bassist Duff McKagan and mainman Billy Corgan are among the guests who appear on the CD. Tentatively due out later this year, the record was produced by Sorum, who told The Pulse Of Radio what it sounded like. "The most modern kind of take I could put on things would be Queens Of The Stone Age meets the Yeah Yeah Yeahs meets, like, the Runaways," he said. "And then we've got a little bit of depth, we're doing a couple of ballads. It's a great-sounding rock 'n' roll record. It's coming out great."
Sorum said he's also lined up guest appearances on the disc from Juliette Lewis and Courtney Love.
Sorum played drums for Currie when she opened for her former Runaways bandmate, Joan Jett, last August in Costa Mesa, California.
