"Megadeth: Another Time, A Different Place"; Coffee Table Book Out March 13th; "Rude Awakening 2002" - Full Film Available

Clear space on your coffee table, metalheads, because this book belongs on it!

"Megadeth: Another Time, A Different Place" will land at book retailers on March 13th, courtesy of VH1 Classic Books and photographer Bill Hale.

Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine penned the foreword to this photo book, calling the collection "the work of a friend ... who has captured the very essence of my career: gritty, hard, cold, impersonal, personal and very personal. Also, the sensitive unseen side of me, which was somewhat of an anomaly with the public and left me an enigma to my peers."

Wow. If that endorsement from one of the key subjects of this book isn't enough to make you run to your nearest bookseller next week to pick up a copy, then nothing else will. Mustaine's description is certainly enough to get fans pumped to look at the photos contained within.

The book turns a photographic lens on the early days of the band. It's also the first-ever Megadeth photo book and includes rare and never-before-seen images, a thrilling mix of backstage candids and firecracker live shots. The book effectively pulls back the curtain on Megadeth during that era and details the band's early days through plenty of arresting, eye-capturing photos.

In case you need or want some background info on Hale, he began shooting rock bands in 1979 when he was just 18.

VH1 Classic Books is an imprint dedicated to publishing books about music.
