KISS'
1989 album «Hot In The Shade», is the first part of a four-CD
reissue series by Universal Japan featuring remastering for the first
time in a high-fidelity SHM-CD format (compatible with standard CD
players). The album, which went gold in the US and platinum in
Canada, featured KISS' highest charting Billboard Hot 100 single
since 1976' «Beth» called «Forever». The album also featured
«Hide Your Heart» and «Rise To It».

15th studio album
was released on October 17, 1989. The album, recorded at
the Fortress in Los Angeles, was produced by both Paulth Stanley and
Gene Simmons.HITS saw
Kiss returning and digging back into their rock roots, rather than an
end-of-80's sounding, forging forward with a 15 song package with
listening almost an hour. The longest KISS record to date.
We also saw the lead singing debut of Eric Carr on his song, "Little Caesar" which was a nick name given to Eric by Gene.
