The fourth Monsters of Rock festival featured a variable lineup: Whitesnake, ZZ Top, Dio, Twisted Sister, Diamond Head and Meat Loaf respectively. Whitesnake topped the bill this night - with a great show. Soon the Donnington 1990 DVD will be out. In the meantime you can enjoy this classic gig in two parts below.
Whitesnake, featured ex Deep Purple keyboardist Jon Lord, skin thumper extraordinaire Cozy Powell and ace bassist Colin Hodgkinson from the semi legendary UK band Back Door. Mel Galley and Micky Moody played the guitars.
