Matt Sorum: Interview, Drumming Demonstration Available

Ethan, co-founder of Revenge Of The PC, recently conducted an interview with drummer Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver, Guns N' Roses, The Cult). You can now watch the chat — and post-interview drumming demonstration from Sorum — in two parts below.

Sorum achieved fame with Guns N' Roses, where he replaced Steven Adler in the band, who was fired because of drug addiction. While with the Los Angeles-based hard rock group (1990-1997), Sorum recorded the highly successful albums "Use Your Illusion I" and "Use Your Illusion II" (both 1991) and "The Spaghetti Incident" (1994). He also supported the group on the "Use Your Illusion" tour and can be heard on Guns N' Roses' "Live Era: '87-'93" (1999) and "Greatest Hits"(2004).
